Restricted States

Updated over 3 months ago

CrashDuel follows U.S. sweepstakes laws. While the platform is open in most of the country, some states and jurisdictions restrict sweepstakes-style casinos. For this reason, CrashDuel blocks players from certain locations.

Restricted States

You cannot play CrashDuel if you reside in any of the following:

  • Connecticut

  • Delaware

  • Washington DC

  • Idaho

  • Kentucky

  • Louisiana

  • Michigan

  • California

  • Montana

  • Nevada

  • New York

  • New Jersey

  • Rhode Island

  • West Virginia

  • Tennessee

  • Maryland

Why Access is Blocked

Each state has its own laws around sweepstakes, contests, and online casino-style games. In some places, sweepstakes casinos are treated the same as online gambling or require special licenses. To stay compliant, CrashDuel excludes players from those jurisdictions.

This protects both players and the platform by:

  • Following state laws where sweepstakes casinos are restricted.

  • Preventing underage or unauthorized gambling activity.

  • Ensuring only eligible participants can redeem prizes legally.

In summary: If you live in one of the restricted states above, you won’t be able to create or use a CrashDuel account. This is a legal requirement, not a decision by CrashDuel.
